According to officials, the monthly stipend for children of police employees suffering from thalassemia has been raised from Rs. 15,000 to Rs. 30,000, doubling the previous amount to help with medical and daily living expenses. Similarly, the stipend for children affected by cerebral palsy has increased from Rs. 10,000 to Rs. 20,000 per month. Additionally, a new monthly stipend of Rs. 10,000 has been approved for children with autism whose parents serve in the police force.
