CM Punjab Launches Livestock Program Phase 2 for Rural Women in South Punjab 2025
Phase one Details
Over 4,870 livestock assets including healthy pregnant buffaloes and cows have been successfully distributed.A budget of Rs. 2 billion was allocated for this initiative.
Includes Cities in Second Phase
In the second phase, the program is expanding to the districts of:
- Bahawalnagar
- Rahim Yar Khan
- Rajanpur
- Layyah
- Kot Addu
- Bahawalpur
- Khanewal
- Vehari
- Lodhran and Multan
Objective of Initiative
To Establish these Initiative the govt have some objectives To empower divorced and vulnerable women in rural communities Provide sustainable livelihood sources through livestock Increase the production of high-quality dairy and meat by distributing healthy, high-breed animals
Eligibility Criteria Livestock Program Phase 2
- Applicant must be a divorced rural woman, preferably from South Punjab
- Age limit: Up to 55 years
- Must be registered and verified by the Punjab Social Protection Authority
- PMT (Poverty Means Test) Score: Up to 32
- The applicant must not have received benefits from any other government scheme in the last five years
