Faysal Bank Introduced Co-Badge PayPak-Mastercard Debit Card

Faysal Bank has introduced Pakistan’s First ever Co-Badge PayPak-Mastercard debit card, making a major step forward in the country’s digital payment ecosystem. The new card combines the strength of two card network: PayPak, which is Pakistan’s domestic payment network and Mastercard, which is a globally accepted network. This combination of two card network will facilitate customers to use single card for both local transactions and global transactions.

According to Faysal Bank, this co-badge debit card has been designed to support the State Bank of Pakistan’s goal of promoting a secure, affordable and homegrown digital payments system. At the same time, it solves a long-standing issue for users of PayPak cards holders only, which have limited payments access but not international payments access.

Bank Officials say that the launch will not only be benefit for customers who want seamless access to global payments but will also encourage wider adoption of digital transactions across the country. This move will help to reduce the need for customers to maintain separate cards for domestic and international use.
