FBR Announces 1,760+ Sepoy Vacancies in Pakistan Customs The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR), Government of Pakistan, has announced massive recruitment for Sepoy (BS-05) positions under the Pakistan Customs Department. A total of 1,760+ posts are open across multiple regions, including Quetta, Gaddani, Indus, Gilgit-Baltistan, and various districts in Punjab, Sindh, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and Balochistan.
These appointments will be made on a two-year contract basis, as per government recruitment policies, with the possibility of an extension depending on performance and requirements.
Vacancy Details by Region
1. The Customs Enforcement Collectorate, Quetta has announced 220 vacancies for the post of Sepoy (BPS-05). These positions are allocated for candidates with domicile in Quetta Division, excluding the districts of Khuzdar, Awaran, Lasbela, and Hub. Out of the total, 22 seats are reserved for women and 11 for minorities.
Similarly, the Customs Enforcement Collectorate, Gaddani is offering 140 vacancies for Sepoy, open to candidates from Makran Division as well as the districts of Khuzdar, Awaran, Lasbela, and Hub.
The Customs Enforcement Collectorate, Indus Region has the largest share, with over 1,200 vacancies for Sepoy. These positions are distributed across various districts in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Punjab, Sindh, Gilgit-Baltistan, and Balochistan. In this region, 120 seats are reserved for women and 60 for minority candidates.
Eligiblity Criteria
For the post of Sepoy (BPS-05), candidates must possess a minimum qualification of Matric (10th grade). The age limit is set between 18 to 30 years, which includes a 5-year general age relaxation as per government rules. Applicants are required to meet specific physical standards. For male candidates, the minimum height is 5 feet 6 inches, with a chest measurement of 32 to 33.5 inches. For female candidates, the minimum height requirement is 5 feet 2 inches. In addition to these measurements, all applicants must successfully pass a physical fitness test, which includes running, push-ups, chin-ups, and other relevant endurance assessments. Meeting the physical criteria is mandatory for both male and female candidates.
