Previously, some e-challan alerts were sent from the government number 8070. Which led to confusion and made it easier for scammers to send misleading messages pretending to be official. The Safe City spokesperson clarified that the authority does not send e-challan alerts from any number other than 9915 and warned citizens to be vigilant.
