Sindh introduces new vehicle fitness certificate policy 2026. The Sindh Assembly was inform on Friday that the provincial government has intensified action against unfit vehicles, issuing fines of Rs. 820 million to 56,200 heavy vehicles last year. Memon explain that fitness certificates were previously issue manually without proper records. And vehicles from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan could obtain certificates in Sindh. Officials have state that the new system will more transparent, with digital verification options being introduce to make it easier for citizens to confirm the authenticity of fitness certificates. Public awareness campaigns are also plan to guide vehicle owners through the updated procedures. “The introduction of this policy reflects our commitment to road safety and ensuring that vehicles on our roads are in proper condition,” said a spokesperson from the Sindh Transport Department.
