The TANK-500 HEV (Hybrid Electric Vehicle) will be priced at Rs. 20,500,000, while the more advanced TANK-500 PHEV (Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicle) variant will carry a price tag of Rs. 22,500,000. Both figures are ex-factory prices, meaning the amounts announced are for vehicles as they leave the assembling facility, before dealer markups and taxes. These prices represent a significant reduction compared to earlier imported models, which cost upwards of Rs. 45 million due to high duties and taxes. The shift to local assembly (CKD units) has helped bring the premium SUV into a more competitive price bracket for Pakistani buyers.
The TANK-500 lineup offers a blend of modern hybrid technology, premium comfort, and off-road capability. Appealing to buyers looking for luxury and efficiency in the full-size SUV segment. The PHEV version, in particular. It is notable as it becomes one of the first full-size plug-in hybrids assembled in the country. Bookings for both variants will open on January 26, 2026, with delivery estimates around 3–4 months after order confirmation. Early buyers are expected to place deposits of millions of rupees to secure their units once bookings begin.
Industry analysts suggest this launch could boost competition in Pakistan’s SUV market. Especially as more hybrid and electrified vehicles enter the mix. It also underlines Sazgar’s push into New Energy Vehicles (NEVs) as consumer demand evolves toward greener alternatives.
