Benefit And Broader Expansion
The new Mega Centre is expect to serve nearly four million people from a wide range of neighbourhoods, including Korangi, Landhi, Korangi Creek, Shah Faisal Colony, Malir Model Colony, Chakra Goth, Bin Qasim, Steel Town, Ibrahim Hyderi, Qayyumabad, and surrounding areas. With expanded capacity and improved accessibility, the Korangi Mega Centre aims to make essential civil registration services more convenient and efficient for residents across a broad stretch of Karachi’s eastern districts.
This development comes as part of NADRA’s ongoing efforts to strengthen its service network in Karachi, where multiple mega centres already operate to meet the identity-related needs of the city’s large population. Earlier plans also included opening additional centres in areas like Malir, Surjani Town and Gulshan-i-Iqbal to reduce pressure on existing facilities and offer faster services.
