
Sindh Government announce Karachi roads upgrade project 2026. The Karachi Metropolitan Corporation (KMC) has launched a major road rehabilitation programme across the city with an estimated cost of Rs. 5.54 billion, aimed at improving urban connectivity and easing daily commuting for residents. The initiative will see 26 internal roads upgraded and rehabilitated, covering a total length of about 68 kilometres.
Under the project, roads spanning various districts and towns of Karachi including important thoroughfares like Olympian Islahuddin Road. Naqash Kazmi Road, Sardar Ali Sabri Road, Sebha Akhtar Road, UP More Road, Peer Bazar Road, Al‑Amna Road, Rahmina Road. And several routes in North Nazimabad and Sakhi Hassan have select for improvement.
