Commissioner Faisalabad Division Raja Jahangir Anwar chaired a meeting to review the progress of the planned projects. He stressed the need to complete master plans, tendering, and the award of work without delay. He directed that effective coordination be maintained among assistant commissioners, NESPAK, local government departments, and the project management unit. The commissioner said that once the planning and award processes are completed, development work should begin in double shifts. He added that he would personally visit the concerned tehsils every week to review the implementation of the projects.
He instructed Civil Defense and Rescue 1122 to issue notices to marquees, hotels, restaurants, shopping malls, industrial units, housing societies, public offices, and educational institutions to ensure compliance.
