Govt of Punjab has introduced the “Rehmat Card Program 2026” to provide financial assistance to widows and orphan children across the province very usefull stepp has been taken by Govt of Punjab.. The initiative aims to support low-income families by offering direct cash grants to help cover education, healthcare, and daily living expenses.

The Program Official Working According to the program details, eligible widows can receive financial aid of up to Rs. 100,000, while each orphan child may receive an additional Rs. 25,000. Under the scheme, a family can get maximum support of up to Rs. 150,000 depending on eligibility criteria and verification.
Eligiblity Criteria
The Rehmat Card initiative is being operated under the supervision of the Punjab Social Protection Authority (PSPA) and the Zakat & Ushr Department. Officials stated that applicants must be permanent residents of Punjab and belong to low-income households with a low PMT score.Authorities have also clarified that the widow’s marital status must be verified through NADRA records. In addition, orphan children applying for assistance must be registered with NADRA to qualify for the program.Government employees are not eligible for this scheme. Applicants can submit their registration through the official online portal, mobile application, or by visiting the nearest Zakat office.
Documents Needs
Required documents for the application include the widow or guardian’s CNIC, death certificate of the husband or father, children’s B-Form, a registered mobile number linked with the CNIC, and proof of Punjab residency.
