A Clean Punjab, A Joyful Eid Let’s Unite for a Greener Tomorrow This Eid-ul-Adha, let us reaffirm our commitment to a cleaner, greener Punjab. Under the leadership of Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif, the Government of Punjab extends heartfelt Eid greetings to the entire nation. Carrying forward the legacy of excellence from previous years, a comprehensive Grand Cleanliness Operation has been launched in line with the Clean Punjab Vision.
The campaign includes:
- Deployment of over 140,000 sanitation workers
- Distribution of more than 1.9 million waste bags
- Setup of 3,877 collection centers
- 36,000+ vehicles actively engaged in waste collection
- Operations expanded across 3,970 Union Councils
- Establishment of 202 cattle markets with 100% machinery support and dedicated staff
- Setup of complaint and awareness camps for community support
