Arshad Nadeem set a new record with a throw of 92.97 meters, the longest in Olympic history. In recognition of this monumental achievement, Ali Zafar took to social media platform X (formerly Twitter) to share his excitement and announced a reward of PKR 1 million through his foundation.

Ali Zafar also urged the Government of Pakistan to establish a sports academy in Arshad Nadeem’s name and called for a grand national reception to honor the athlete. He emphasized that if Pakistani athletes receive the support they deserve, the country could potentially secure 10 gold medals within a year.This achievement marks Pakistan’s first Olympic medal in 32 years and the first gold medal since the 1984 Los Angeles Olympics, where the national hockey team secured victory.
