Ban on Plastic Bottles Across the Country Approved Today A meeting of the Senate was held in Islamabad A Senator Mohsin Aziz from PTI presented a motion to ban the production of 500 ml plastic bottles in the Senat and said that plastic bottles are destroying or drt the environment.He said that 13 billion bottles are used in the world every year۔Senator Mohsin Aziz also informed the Senate that 60 million plastic bottles are used on a daily basis , out of which 255,000 tons of waste are thrown away in this country۔He also Required a thing in the House that plastic bottles should be reduced in the country(Pakistan).

The country should reduce or eliminate its use, there are big companies that are making and using these bottles.Law Minister Azam Nazir Tarar also Informed to house on this issue that PPP leader Sherry Rehman as a federal minister had done a great Work on this issue, in the time of PPP Govt, offices and ministries were strictly Banned to give up the use of plastic bottles.Another federal minister said that if the use of these bottles is stopped even today, it will take 4 years to get rid of them.
