The federal government has approved a 35% increase in the salaries of faculty members serving under the Tenure Track System (TTS) in universities.
Salaries Increase For Professor
The minimum salary for a TTS Professor has been raised from Rs. 394,875 to Rs. 407,230, the annual increment from Rs. 19,305 to Rs. 20,320, and the maximum salary from Rs. 684,450 to Rs. 712,030.
Associate Professor New Salary
The minimum salary for an Associate Professor has been raised from Rs. 263,250 to Rs. 370,810; the annual increment from Rs. 15,356 to Rs. 18,320; and the maximum salary from Rs. 493,590 to Rs. 645,610.]
Assistant Professor Salary
The minimum salary for an Assistant Professor has been increased from Rs. 175,500 to Rs. 288,020; the annual increment from Rs. 12,065 to Rs. 17,720; and the maximum salary from Rs. 356,475 to Rs. 553,820.
Important Note
Approval has been granted for a 35% increase, which will take effect from July 1, 2026.
