Pakistan Railways revised the schedule due to dense fog going in the country. Pakistan Railways has announced changes to the departure timings of several major trains after dense fog. Significantly affected operations across key routes in the country. Passengers travelling from Lahore and Faisalabad to major cities like Karachi have experienced long delays. Prompting authorities to update schedules and advise travelers to check the latest timings before heading to stations.

According to the revised schedule, trains that normally depart in the afternoon. And evening will now leave several hours later due to poor visibility caused by persistent fog. Some of the major adjustments include:

  • The Karakoram Express from Lahore to Karachi will now depart at 6:00 PM instead of its original 3:00 PM slot.
  • The Karachi Express has been pushed back to 12:45 AM from its scheduled 6:00 PM departure.
  • The Millat Express, operating from Faisalabad to Karachi, will now start its journey at 12:00 AM, a delay of more than six hours.
  • The Mianwali Express departure from Lahore has also been shifted from 9:10 PM to 11:45 PM.

Railway authorities say that fog and low visibility continue to make normal operations challenging. And schedules may be further adjusted depending on how weather conditions evolve. Travellers are urged to contact Pakistan Railways or check online platforms for real‑time updates before travelling to stations.
