Petroleum Products Prices Going to Decrease Tonight
There is a big relief for the people from the Government of Pakistan, due to which petrol will be available to the public with new prices after 12 midnight tonight.
Previous Announcement of Govt
In the last 15 days review, which was done before Eid-ul-Fitr, the GOVT had reduced the price of petrol by Rs 1 per litre. After this, the new price of petrol was Rs 254.63 per litre. There was no change in the price of diesel and it remained at Rs 258.64 per litre.
Conclusion
From April 16, 2025, the Government of Pakistan is set to reduce petrol prices by Rs 8 per litre and diesel by Rs 6.50 per litre due to falling global oil prices. The new petrol price will be Rs 246 and diesel Rs 251.06, effective after midnight. This move aims to provide major relief to the public. Earlier, before Eid-ul-Fitr, petrol was reduced by Rs 1 while diesel remained unchanged.
