Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has called a meeting of the Federal Cabinet to be held tomorrow, where critical issues, including a potential ban on Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), will be discussed. The meeting will also consider proceedings under Article 6 against former President Dr. Arif Alvi, PTI founder Imran Khan, and former Deputy Speaker of the National Assembly, Qasim Suri.According to a statement from the Prime Minister’s Office, the Federal Cabinet meeting is scheduled for 11 a.m. under Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif. The cabinet will deliberate on a six-point agenda, which includes significant policy matters.

Additionally, the meeting will cover the approval of Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) between Pakistan and Denmark, aiming to strengthen bilateral cooperation. The appointment of the Chairman of the Evacuee Trust Property Board is also on the agenda, reflecting the government’s focus on heritage management.

Furthermore, a proposal to increase the number of members in the Privatization Commission will be presented to streamline the privatization process and improve governance.Sources indicate that the cabinet is likely to discuss the imposition of a ban on PTI, citing concerns over its activities.
