Punjab Budget 2025-26 Historic Relief Package for Farmers Unveiled by CM Maryam Nawaz Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif has introduced groundbreaking initiatives in the Budget 2025-26 to uplift farmers and boost crop production. A special focus has been placed on direct financial support and long-term agricultural development.
Newly launched Kisan Card, farmers will receive a subsidy of Rs. 5,000 per acre, ensuring easier access to resources and inputs. The Wheat Farmer Support Program has also been expanded, bringing new hope and financial stability to wheat growers across the province.
The Punjab government has allocated over Rs. 129 billion for agriculture, livestock, and irrigation, marking a record investment in rural prosperity. Notably, Punjab remains the only province providing direct subsidies to farmers — a strategy that continues in this year’s budget with billions earmarked for support.
