Punjab” initiative, the Punjab government has successfully disbursed subsidies to 514,000 wheat growers, providing Rs. 1,000 per acre.In the second phase of the Kisan Card program, the government has released a total of Rs. 63 billion to support farmers. So far, farmers have used the Kisan Cards to purchase fertilizers worth Rs. 18 billion. This initiative aims to strengthen the agriculture sector and ensure financial stability for farmers across the province.
Objective of Program
The aim of this program launched by the Chief Minister of Punjab is to develop Punjab in terms of agriculture. When the farmer is prosperous and his needs are met, he will grow better crops.
