CM Punjab Laptop Scheme 2025 Biometric Verification Compulsory for Students Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz has given a major update to students regarding the Laptop Scheme 2025.As you know, the Chief Minister was to distribute 110,000 laptops, the registration process for which has been completed and the students are currently waiting for the merit list.A major update for students and candidates regarding the scheme is that biometric verification will be done at the time of distribution of laptops.
Chief Minister Punjab Laptop Scheme 2025
The Chief Minister’s Laptop Scheme is a major initiative for the students, under which free laptops are provided to the students who are enrolled in government colleges and universities. This motivates the students.
Eligiblity Criteria
These laptops are not given to all students, but only to students belonging to public sector universities, government colleges and medical institutions who are getting Education Currentyly from these Institutions.
Features of Laptop Scheme 2025
- One hundred and ten thousand laptops will be provided to students ( Male and Female )
- Students belonging to government colleges and universities will be eligible for this program.
- In the first phase, 7,000 students will be able to get laptops, which will be biometrically verified.
Students Biometric Verfication
A major initiative has been taken by the government for students. Therefore, to provide laptops to deserving and eligible students, the government has made biometric verification mandatory, so that every child, male or female, will be able to get a laptop after passing the biometrics.

Last Date of Biometric Verficiation
The government is starting biometric verification from April 24 and this laptop distribution will continue until the end of the campaign.
