Punjab Govt Dhi Rani Program Brings Joy to Newlyweds Under the directives of Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif, the Punjab government has successfully conducted mass wedding ceremonies across all districts of the province. In the first phase, 1,500 couples tied the knot under the Program, which aims to support underprivileged brides and grooms.
Features of Program
With the initiative gaining momentum, the program continues to turn dreams into reality, making the Punjab government a true ambassador of happiness. Newlywed couples received PKR 100,000 as a wedding gift through ATM cards, along with wedding arrangements, meals, furniture, clothing, and other essential household items.
PHASE 2
Building on this success, the second phase of the Punjab Dhi Rani Program has commenced, with applications now open for another 1,500 weddings.
How to Register for Dhee Rani Program?
Eligible applicants can submit their forms through the official online portal (cmp.punjab.gov.pk) or at their respective district’s Deputy Director Social Welfare office.
