CM Punjab Launches Digital Skills Program for Educated Rural Women Good initiative, CM Punjab Maryam Nawaz Sharif has launched the Chief Minister Digital Skills Program which is latest youth Program in Punjab aimed at empowering educated rural women through cutting-edge digital skills training. This initiative, introduced under the Punjab Skills Development Fund (PSDF), is set to uplift thousands of women by equipping them with essential digital expertise, enabling them to earn online and become self-reliant.Details of Programs are Mention below.

Digital Skills Program Program Introduction

The program will provide six months of free digital training, along with a free desktop computer, internet device by govt of Punjab , and internet package for all enrolled participants. Additionally, each trainee will receive a monthly stipend of PKR 30,000 to support their learning journey.

  • Content Creation
  • E-Commerce (Shopify, Daraz, and other platforms)
  • English Language Proficiency
  • Product Development

Objective of Program

This program is designed to help women become freelancers or online entrepreneurs, allowing them to generate income from home while contributing to the growing digital economy.

Training Phase According to Districts

The initiative Divide into three phases across various districts:

Class Start Date : Phase 1 (Starting March 15, 2025)

Cities Include :

  • Lodhran, Bahawalpur, Faisalabad, Sargodha, Gujranwala, Sheikhupura, Bhakkar, Sialkot, Rahim Yar Khan, Muzaffargarh, Kasur, Lahore, Chakwal, Multan, Bahawalnagar, Chiniot, Gujrat, Hafizabad, Jhang, Khanewal, Khushab.

Class start Date: hase 2 (Starting April 15, 2025)

Cities Include

Rawalpindi, Jhelum, Mianwali, Nankana Sahib, Okara, Attock, Toba Tek Singh, Dera Ghazi Khan, Layyah, Mandi Bahauddin, Narowal, Pakpattan, Rajanpur, Sahiwal, Vehari, Murree, Talagang, Wazirabad, Kot Addu, Taunsa.

Class Start Date : Phase 3 (Starting May 15, 2025)

Cities Include

dditional districts will be included in the program based on demand and feasibility.

Eligiblity Criteria

  1. Minimum education requirement: 16 years of education
  2. Age Limit: Preference for women under 30
  3. Residency: Applicants must belong to Union Councils within the District Council limits
  4. Entry Test: Candidates must pass the test for selection.
