The inaugural edition of the Lanka T10 Super League 2024, organized by Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC), will begin on December 11, 2024, in Kandy. The opening match will feature Jaffna Titans taking on Hambantota Bengal Tigers, followed by an exciting opening ceremony. A total of 6 teams will compete for the prestigious title in this high-octane tournament.
The participating teams in the Lanka T10 Super League 2024 include Jaffna Titans, Hambantota Bengal Tigers, Colombo Jaguars, Nuwara Eliya Kings, Kandy Bolts, and Galle Marvels. These teams will face each other in a round-robin format during the league phase. The tournament will reach its climax with the Qualifiers and Eliminator matches scheduled for December 18, 2024.
In Qualifier 1, Team 1 will battle against Team 2, while the Eliminator will feature Team 3 facing Team 4. The runner-up from Qualifier 1 will then take on the winner of the Eliminator. The grand finale, showcasing the winners of Qualifier 1 and Qualifier 2, will take place on December 19, 2024.
The tournament will conclude with a colorful closing ceremony, marking the successful end of this fast-paced and thrilling cricket competition.
